The Great Britain 1985 Royal Mail Year books occur with two different types of lettering on the spine.

On some the inscription “ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL STAMPS 1985” is in gold, others have silver lettering. These differences are unrecorded in Stanley Gibbons catalogues.

Based on our own stocks the silver lettering appears to be the scarcer variant. If you know otherwise, please let us know.
