Terms of Business and Charges (August 2015)

·         Payment is due in UK Pounds within 5 days of notification by cash, cheque, credit card or bank transfer.  For payments in other currencies or by other methods please ask us first for details.

We prefer our UK customers known to us to pay by cheque.   Basically to process 300 credit cards takes us over 9 hours and at a time when we want to be packing lots for despatch.  In contrast processing 300 cheques takes us less than 15 minutes.

·         Credit Cards

We accept Visa, MasterCard and UK Debit cards as well as Solo and JCB but not charge cards such as American Express or Diners.   For guidance on sending card details securely by email please ask.

No buyers’ premium, no handling charge, no credit card surcharge and no added VAT – just simple value for money.

·         Postage/Packing

£1.50 + the actual postage costs.
  £1.50 is less the real cost of us.  The real costs associated with despatch average well over £2.  They comprise the time taken to pick out the lots, check them against the invoices, pack them securely, apply an attractive ranges of stamps, generate certificates of posting and transfer to Royal Mail plus the cost of envelopes, etc.

·         Photocopies of suitable lots can be provided at 30p per lot + postage.

·         No quibble refund Guarantee:  We want you to be satisfied with any purchases and be a contented customer who remains with us for many years.   In the unlikely event that a lot is not correctly described - simply tell us why and return it in its original condition for a full refund.  We get so few items returned (less then a half percent) we can afford to give this level of satisfaction.

·         Overdue accounts may be surcharged at 2% per month.
